We're Home!

“That is happiness: to be dissolved into something complete and great.”
--Willa Cather

Well, it seems Merrie’s kidneys (and most everything else) are back to normal and so she was discharged this afternoon.

It seems that this all was caused by a combination of unintended drug effects and dehydration. Her medication has been adjusted.

And we’re all relieved that she’s home and sleeping--an activity that’s a problem in the hospital.

Greg is giving me lessons on how to leave a comment and I don't follow directions very well - thus my Hi again Çraig comment. Here's another try. We are so glad to hear that all is well with Merrie Esther. What a relief! We have had a wonderful time visiting in Texas and here in Chicago. I doubt that my first comment got through in which I told you about our vacation activities so will write again when I get back home.
Much love,
Penny

Thanks, Penny. You are, of course, wonderful. You're quite the traveller, and I'm sure the grandkids are enjoying your Chicago visit! Josie sent some great pictures. Merrie's had a very quiet day today, and we're all glad she's home. Stay safe on your trip, and give our love to everyone.
