Well, I'm happy, my guy, David Cook, won. Even though I was feeling totally zonked I was determinded not to go to sleep til I had plugged in at least 100 votes and I made it. I didn't start watching AI until the last part of season 3 and it seems that every year my favorite contestant is always a female, but this year the guys finally came through for me. I wasn't a fan right off, but the guy just got hotter and hotter as time went on. I also really liked Michael Johns and was sorry to see him go. I could listen to Jason Castro's lilting Hallelujah and Over the Rainbow over and over. No doubt David Archuleta is a very talented young man with a great voice and has a great career ahead of him. I'm still hoping/waiting for my all-time favorite AI, Melinda Doolittle, to put out a CD. Ah, well, all is over for another year.
