re: the anti-marriage forces: At this point I have to ponder, "methinks they doth protest too much."
Usually I try to avoid those petitioners outside of grocery stores, but a couple weeks ago I suddenly found myself cornered by a young woman (teenager with braces) as I was leaving Ralph's and she shyly asked "Do you support same-sex marriage?" I said "yes" and signed my name. She seemed very grateful. I guess that was my good deed for the day.
