I've taken an early-summer spontaneous hiatus from "The Daiy Observation," as I'm sure you've noticed. Part of my excuse is that I was away at the Cal-Pac Annual Conference session. It's nice to have an excuse, even if only partly.

If you've been to Annual Conference I'd like to hear what you have to say about your experiences or thoughts about what went on there. There are definitely some current hot topics being discussed and legislated--like even though same sex marriage has been legalized in California the Book of Discipline still bars clergy from performing such a ceremony and can be punished for doing so. Or whatever.
